1008 AI Initiatives in 90 Percent of Sweden’s Municipalities
Together with AI Sweden, a national initiative aimed at strengthening the implementation of AI, Dcipher Analytics today released a report on AI in Swedish municipalities.
Data was collected using Dcipher’s AI platform. First, tens of thousands of news articles were analyzed to identify mentioned AI projects. Next, cases were retrieved from AI Sweden’s case site, My.ai, and finally, Dcipher’s research agent was used to search through municipalities’ websites and annual reports for information about AI initiatives.
All information was then analyzed within the platform and classified based on criteria such as municipality, application area (schools, social services, etc.), and purpose. With the help of the platform’s large language models (LLMs), descriptions were generated at both the municipal and application area levels.
The results were presented at an international conference on November 13, 2024.
