Executive Summaries Now Available in Research Matrix
We’re excited to introduce a new enhancement to Dcipher Analytics’ AI-powered Research Matrix: the ability to generate executive summaries for both rows and columns. This update makes it even easier to extract key insights from complex datasets - whether you’re monitoring competitors, tracking industry trends, or mapping stakeholder activities across multiple dimensions.
What Is the Dcipher Analytics Research Matrix?
The Research Matrix is a powerful tool for structuring and analyzing information across two dimensions. It is widely used for:
- Competitor and stakeholder monitoring – Track activities such as investments, product launches, and M&A across multiple companies.
- Geographic analysis – Analyze how different topics (e.g., sustainability, technology, policy) are evolving across countries or cities.
Each cell in the matrix contains AI-generated summaries of relevant information from a variety of sources, including news articles, reports, press releases, and web content. It provides concise, structured insights - with direct links to original sources - so users don’t have to sift through endless lists of articles.
What’s New? Executive Summaries for Rows & Columns
With this new update, users can now generate executive summaries for each row and column of the matrix.
Why This Matters:
- Quickly extract key insights – Instead of scanning all individual cells, users can read a concise summary of the most important findings for a specific company or topic.
- Customized reporting – Different users track different aspects; now, each team member can focus on their area of interest with tailored summaries.
- Seamless download – Simply hover over a row or column header, click the download icon, and get an entire auto-generated report for that company or topic.
For example:
- If you’re tracking 20 competitors across 15 key aspects, the matrix will contain 300 individual summaries. Instead of reading each one, you can now request an executive summary for a specific company or topic of interest.
- A product team may focus on competitors’ new product launches, while a sustainability team monitors ESG-related developments. Each team can now get a tailored summary of what matters to them.
